Acrylic paint pouring, sometimes called fluid painting, is a fun and experimental way to enjoy painting without the need for brushes, pallet knives, solvents or lengthy training. There are many methods that can be explored and discussed as part of the class. Students will learn to mix color, to use pouring medium to achieve ideal viscosity, and how colors interact to create abstract cell-like patterns across the support. Each attendee will create their own medium-sized unique work of art using a chosen technique. Paintings will need to dry for several days due to the many layers of paint. Pick up will be available one week after the class.
