New for SUMMER@GUS 2023

Day Camp Age Groups

In an effort to foster a more diverse, cross-graded, summer camp experience that complements our weekly programmatic themes, we have shifted our camper age groups as follows:

  • Chickadees: entering Pre-K and Kindergarten, at least 3.6 years of age by June 26, 2023. Campers must be bathroom independent.

  • Hawks: entering grades 1 - 3

  • Ospreys: entering grades 4 - 6

  • GUS Adventure Program: entering grades 5-8

  • Leader-In-Training Program: entering grades 9-10

GUS Adventure Program

We are pleased to announce the new GUS Adventure Program. Each day children will travel off campus to explore a variety of fun and interactive sites and places across the North Shore. Feel like a pirate as you charter the seas at Schooner Sails, hike with your new friends along the many trails in the surrounding area, and MORE! This program offers two, two-week sessions: 7/17- 7/28 and 7/31 - 8/11. Please note that we do not prorate this program.

Leader-in-Training Program

A three-week program for aspiring counselors and young professionals to learn the skills necessary to become a part of the SUMMER@GUS team, as well as the broader, working world. This program is designed to help build skills like problem-solving and relationship-building, and also explore the process of becoming a counselor, including resume building, interview skills, program development, and delivery.

Enrichment Camps

Our summer enrichments offer an in-depth exploration of a variety of topics from art to coding, cooking, and more, for students entering pre-K through grade 6. Summer 2023 programs are being finalized and should be up for registration by mid-February. Stay tuned!
