SUMMER @GUS Day Camp

Join us for full and half-day experiences for campers age 3.5 to 13 with swimming, extended care, and on and off-campus fun. REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Day Camp Information

Campers join age-appropriate groups:

    • Chickadees:  Full and half-day camp opportunities designed for preschool and Pre-K campers ages 3.5 to 5 (see a sample schedule)

      • 2 Staff:8 Campers
      • Full-day, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., $430 / Half-day, 8:30 a.m. to Noon, $220 / 4th of July week 3-day special rates $180 full, $90 half
      • REGISTER YOUR CHICKADEE 
  • Hawks:  A full day camp program designed especially for our campers entering grades 1 and 2. (see a sample schedule)

    • 2 Staff:10 Campers
    • Full-day, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., $415 / 4th of July week 3-day special rate $165
    • REGISTER YOUR HAWK
  • Osprey:  A full day camp program for campers entering grades 3 and 4 that includes a variety of activities, a weekly field trip for explorations on the North Shore, and daily sports and arts choice. (see a sample schedule)

    • 2 Staff:12 Campers
    • Full-day, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., $415 / 4th of July week 3-day special rate $165
    • REGISTER YOUR OSPREY
  • Herons: A full day camp program for campers entering grades 5 to 7 that includes a variety of activities, and two weekly adventure field trips on the North Shore. (see a sample schedule)

    • 2 Staff:12 Campers
    • Full-day, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., $430 / 4th of July week 3-day special rate $180
    • REGISTER YOUR HERON
  • Day campers may sign up for individual weeks. Families who register for more than one week by May 15 will receive 10% off. 

  • Campers may be dropped off starting at 8:30 a.m. and must be picked up by 4:30 p.m. Families may choose to register for our Extended Care program, which offers morning care starting at 7:30 a.m. and afternoon care through 5:30 p.m. Each is $50 per week. Parents may sign up for this as needed on a daily or weekly option. Weekly: $50 a.m. or p.m. / Daily: $12 a.m or p.m.

  • We offer bus and van transportation to and from Newburyport, Boxford, Topsfield, Lynnfield, Peabody, Danvers, and Beverly for the first five weeks of each summer. 

  • Campers bring their own lunch daily, and we provide morning and afternoon snacks. We support food allergies in partnership with parents and campers’ physician allergy management plans. All staff are fully informed about all allergy concerns.

  • Campers entering grade 1 and older have the choice to go swimming at the Bennett Center, Monday through Friday at 3:00 p.m. If a camper elects not to swim, he or she can choose from camp arts or sports activities. Camp counselors and lifeguards supervise swim sessions. Younger campers who do not have the choice to swim instead enjoy fun campus activities.
