Coffee social, classroom visits, and a special gathering, featuring student performances.
We celebrate this day by asking students to invite grandparents or special adult friends to spend the morning with them at Glen Urquhart School. The day begins with a coffee reception for guests in Braemar, then guests join the students in their classrooms. Following the classroom visits, guests return to Braemar for an all-school celebration and concert. Parents are invited to attend the concert, which begins at 10:30.
This special occasion is considered a “dress-up” day. Blue jeans, shorts, sweatshirts/pants and flip-flops are not allowed on dress-up days. Normal dress guidelines still apply.
Dismissal will be at 12:00 p.m. Lower school students are dismissed from their classrooms and upper school students from the back parking lot. There is no aftercare. The bus will depart at noon.

Driving directions: From Rt. 128, take Exit 17 and turn south toward Beverly Farms. Follow Grapevine Rd./Hart St. for 1 mile. The front entrance will be on your right. For accessible parking at our back entrance, continue on Hart St., past the school, and turn right onto Greenwood Ave. Turn right through the stone pillars.
