Environmental Science + Leadership for Girls

We are proud to offer a new course this summer, specifically for girls.

Environmental Science Leadership + Adventures for Girls is a one-week course offered to girls entering 6th through 9th grade. It offers a hybrid of environmental science learning and daily adventures in scientific fieldwork. Lead by Cory Ryan, AP Environmental Science teacher at Dexter Southfield, campers will venture out to local farms to learn about agricultural practices and land stewardship; waste management and water treatment centers to learn about human impact on the environment, as well as local beaches and forests to get up close and personal with our local ecosystems.
