2026 Summer Enrichments
Put your thoughts and imagination on paper in this week of storytelling, poetry, art, and more. Join US faculty member Kate Doyon, as she explains and demonstrates the importance of the writing process. Paint. Draw, and create illustrations that enhance your story, poem, essay etc. Campers will learn how to properly bind their books and present their finished product to their peers.

Entering grades: Grades 4-7

Campers will explore the grand outdoors through the lens of an art adventurer! Our young artists will spend the week expressing their creativity through different art mediums. They will enjoy a refreshing afternoon of waterplay and other exciting special events for the week. To finish the day, campers return to their art studio and reflect what was seen around our beautiful campus grounds through artistic expression.

Come explore the forest, wetlands, and fields surrounding GUS. We will utilize our senses to observe and identify what we see, build, create art, play games, and tell stories inspired by the natural world around us.

Science is always fun as a little Einstein! Join us as we find answers to the many mysteries of science through sensory exploration. What makes oobleck so sticky? How do plants grow? Campers will cycle through daily activities and experiments in this week of information and fun while utilizing GUS’ entire campus!
