At GUS, we believe that kids shouldn't learn anything in a vacuum - or everything in a classroom.
Our 23-acre campus ensures that learning is never confined to a classroom - or a book. At GUS we are committed to creating a school where children love learning because they are engaged physically, intellectually, and emotionally. Part of that mission involves erasing the boundaries between the classroom and the world around us.

GUS NEWS
As spring unfolds, bringing with it a sense of hope and renewal, we at Glen Urquhart School are reminded of the enduring values that shape our community and guide us towards our vision to empower a generation to do better.
Angel Deschamps attended GUS from kindergarten through 8th grade, graduating in 2016. She went on to graduate from Beverly High School in 2020, and then from Roger Williams University, where she majored in art, in 2025.
For a GUS student, field trips are a quintessential part of the experience at our beloved school. This summer, I had the chance to go on what felt like my very own GUS field trip!
