Young artists with a passion for all things art and who love to pursue their own creative ideas will enjoy mornings working in the GUS art studio. Art studio time will be focused on printmaking processes, product design, making miniatures, and nature themes. Each day after an early lunch we will take excursions on the North Shore to explore art exhibits and experiential learning.
We will begin the week immersed in the art school experience at Montserrat College of Art for time in the galleries and hands-on learning in the art studios there. Over the next three days visit nearby museums, including the Peabody Essex Museum, the Wenham Museum and the Addison Gallery of American Art where we will explore temporary exhibits and permanent collections to inspire us.
