Events at GUS

At Glen Urquhart School we welcome both current families and community members to join us for events we believe reflect our school values, support our curriculum, and bring new insight to attendees. Please join us for the following events:

Free Screening - Friday, February 1, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

From Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville (20 Feet from Stardom), "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" takes an intimate look at America's favorite neighbor: Mister Fred Rogers. A portrait of a man whom we all think we know, this emotional and moving film takes us beyond the zip-up cardigans and the land of make-believe, and into the heart of a creative genius who inspired generations of children with compassion and limitless imagination. Learn more about the film.

"A balm of kindness and empathy in these troubled, divisive times." - Chris Nashawaty, Entertainment Weekly

Free to the community! Doors open at 6:00 p.m. with the film starting at 6:30 p.m. PG-13 (for some thematic elements and language), run-time 94 minutes. GUS will also be holding the middle school event "Winterfest: Skate + Escape" (see below) that evening. Bring your kids and enjoy the film while they have fun... register to save your seat!
