Calling GUS Parent Musicians!

Ray Novack, the GUS Band leader, is looking for a few good parents and staff to join the GUS band at their concert coming up on June 5.

If you played a band instrument back in high school or college, here is an opportunity to dust off your instrument and join the kids in the final concert of the year. 

The band practices at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday mornings. The repertoire will be Trumpet Voluntary, Alpine Overture, Recess Rock, Seize the Day from Newsies, and Viva La Vida by Coldplay. It is shaping up to be a fun challenge for the students.
